Description:

The NMSC-005A is a 3.5cm general purpose coil designed for ultra-high sensitivity imaging of surface structures such as the human eye or the brains of small laboratory animals. A high Q receive-only loop provides superb sensitivity up to 3cm from the coil. Signal to noise ratio is increased up to 300% and higher than large general purpose surface coils designed for other applications. Fully EPI compatible, this coil also can be provided with an adapter to allow a pair to be used for improved coverage of larger regions.
